The Artist in me came through late in life, when my friend was taking a class in the Fine Arts Department at Solano Community College in 1984. That’s when my Artistic Journey Began.
I learned to throw on the wheel and hand building. After taking all the clay classes I could, I eventually bought a kiln so I could work in my own little studio and fire the pieces at home.
Sometimes art just evolves into another form.
I switch from clay to metal when I made a metal frame for a clay piece of art. From there I made metal art with plasma cutter. I hand plasma cut metal into my own design and color the piece with torch.
